The Role
The Financial Reporting team is a close-knit group of three, currently experiencing a growing volume of customer demands. To help meet this demand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member who can help expand our capacity. Over time, the candidate in this role will develop into a domain expert within equity compensation and financial reporting. We work as trusted advisors and an expert extension of clients’ finance teams, playing a critical role in delivering precise, timely, and compliant financial reporting for their equity-based incentive programs. This is a unique opportunity to develop deep domain knowledge in an increasingly important niche, while working at the intersection of finance, client service, and technology.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the delivery of compliant financial reports and related documentation for our clients’ equity programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams across departments, to align client needs with the capabilities of our platform.
- Communicate directly with clients, guiding them through financial reporting processes and helping interpret technical outputs.
- Contribute to internal initiatives that improve the efficiency and automation of reporting workflows.
- Work with clients primarily based in the UK and South Africa, with a growing client base in other international markets.
- Support relationship-building efforts across borders, occasional travel opportunities may be available for client meetings or strategic sessions.
Qualifications
- You have a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent.
- You are comfortable working with large spreadsheets and ideally have some exposure to accounting principles or reporting standards like IFRS 2.
- You have full working proficiency in both written and oral English.
- You are diligent, curious, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
- You are structured, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You are excited by the idea of working with a global client base and learning about international reporting practices.
- You are comfortable with occasional travel to meet clients or deepen professional relationships in key markets.
