Optio is a Fintech company with offices in Oslo (HQ), Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Montpellier and Zurich. With the help of our internal financial experts, we develop technology to simplify all aspects of our corporate clients' (B2B) equity-based incentive programs for their employees. Today, we work with customers such as HomeToGo, Northvolt, Tryg, Storytel, Bang & Olufsen, Finn.auto, Boozt, and many more, and we have doubled our turnover every year since we started in 2018. About the role ☕
In the role of an SDR at Optio, you will play an important role in the company's commercial team and the company's future plans. You will be reporting directly to the SDR manager and be vital in Optio's commercial success initially working from our office in Barcelona or in Oslo, where we are setting up our hubs for SDR activity. The goal of your role is to lay the foundation for Optio's commercial development in various markets by mapping the market, documenting findings, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings with executives in private and listed companies. You will work closely with our Account Executive for the DACH market to identify targets. You will use CRM tools and Marketing Automation tools extensively and you will have the opportunity to travel and work from our other offices in Europe.
Responsibilities 📈
- Track the market and continuously stay up to date on news regarding relevant stakeholders, contacts, and companies
- Ensuring prospecting lists are always updated and of high quality
- Initiate contact with new prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn and qualify both incoming and outbound leads
- Set up automated market activities together and analyze the effects of these activities
- Create content used for commercial and market purposes
- Work closely with colleagues in other offices and markets

To succeed in this role, we believe that:
- You have excellent communication skills in German, but English is also important to us (as our corporate language) with any additional language being a big plus
- You are analytical and structured with big data sets, but also able to think and react quickly when needed
- You are coachable and enjoy working with and learning from colleagues
- You enjoy a challenge and will be persistent in the face of adversity

- If you have previous experience in Sales Development, or similar.
- If you also know other European languages.
- You have a bachelor’s degree or similar within a relevant field
