About the role
The Marketing Automation Specialist (MAS) is accountable for managing the customer journey and ensuring a positive customer experience. This involves taking ownership of the CRM and overseeing Sales, Marketing and Customer Success automation processes. The MAS plays a crucial role in delivering value through automation at every touchpoint with existing and potential customers, while also focusing on enhancing the overall user experience.
The MAS will play a key role in defining the customer journey and implement strategies to ensure long-term success.
The key to success in this role will be a tight collaboration between Tech, Customer success, Product, Marketing and Sales to ensure effective follow-up. The MAS will be responsible for setting goals and performance metrics for the area while making sure we have a data-driven approach to continuously optimize and improve our marketing and sales automation strategies. Additionally, the MAS will work closely with the team to identify new opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness, while also staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing automation.

- Owning the use of Optioâs full CRM
- Setting up automations between relevant internal touchpoints
- Define and improve the customer journey
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction
- Identifying potential growth from existing customers
- Ensuring efficiency in the marketing funnel, by streamlining processes, optimizing automation workflows, and improving lead conversion rates
- Set comprehensive goals for internal performance and growth
- Identifying, creating, and evolving business operations channels in collaboration with Tech, Product, and Customer Success teams
- Identify and execute on potential growth from existing customers
Who are you?
We think that you have all or most of the following:
- Commercial mindset
- Doer mentality
- 5+ year's experience from a similar role
- Hubspot experience is a plus
- Used to working across departments/teams, and various stakeholders
- Experience from optimizing and have a A/B testing approachÂ
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- German, French, Dutch, and/or one Scandinavian language is a plus
- Experience from working with dev and design teams
- Interest in / experience from SaaS and financial services

For this role, we are looking for someone already in Oslo, or willing to relocate. We will only consider candidates with a Norwegian work permit. Candidates are interviewed on an ongoing basis.
