Optio is a Fintech company with offices in Oslo (HQ), Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Zurich. With the help of our internal financial experts, we develop technology to simplify all aspects of our corporate clients' (B2B) equity-based incentive programs for their employees. Today, we work with customers such as Telia, Northvolt, Tryg, Storytel, Bang & Olufsen, Evolution, Boozt, and many more, and we have doubled our turnover every year since we started in 2018. Now we are gearing up into growth mode and are therefore looking for the next star who wants to join and play a crucial part in an exciting journey.
About the role ☕
In the role of an SDR at Optio, you will play an important role in the company's commercial team and the company's future plans. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Expansion and be vital in Optio's commercial success initially working from our office on Esplanaden in Copenhagen, before reallocation to Barcelona. The goal of your role is to lay the foundation for Optio's commercial development in the Danish market (and potentially additional markets) by mapping the market, documenting findings, and updating prospect lists, together with also prospecting companies, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings with C-level executives in private and listed companies. You will work closely with the Country Manager in Denmark as well as the Head of Expansion, and you will use CRM tools and Marketing Automation tools extensively and you will have the opportunity to travel and work from our other offices in Europe.
Responsibilities 📈
- Track the market and continuously stay up to date on news regarding relevant stakeholders, contacts, and companies
- Ensuring prospecting lists are always updated and of high quality
- Initiate contact with new prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn and qualify both incoming and outbound leads
- Set up automated market activities together and analyze the effects of these activities
- Create content used for commercial and market purposes
- Work closely with colleagues in other offices and markets

We believe that you appreciate varied tasks, and working in an international environment, and that you are comfortable having a consultative dialogue with C-level executives.
We also envision that you are ambitious, entrepreneurial and can easily collaborate with others across departments, personalities, and countries as the role will have many contact areas both internally and externally.
To succeed in this role, we believe that:
- You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or similar within a relevant field
- You have great communication skills in Danish and English with any additional language being a big plus
- You are analytical and structured with big data sets, but also able to think and react quickly when needed
- You enjoy a challenge and will be persistent in the face of adversity
- You are coacheable and enjoy working with and learning from colleagues

- If you have previous experience in Sales Development, or similar.
- If you also know other European languages.
